Titus Chapter 3
Do You Need Reminded?
Paul asks Titus to remind the Christians in Ephesus:
1. To be subject to rulers and authorities.
2. To be obedient.
3. To be ready to do whatever is good.
4. To slander no one.
5. To be a person of peace.
6. To be considerate.
7. To be gentle to everyone.
It’s crazy! We shouldn’t have to be reminded to be Christians, but unfortunately, we do. I need to be reminded so I don’t gradually lose focus of what’s really important in life: to love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others as if I am their servant.
My life in Christ really is a changed life but it’s an ongoing choice and commitment.
It’s being aware of my surroundings and not letting the desires of this world distract my focus. I want my life to make a difference for others. I want my life to help point people to Jesus. I, like the people at Ephesus, need to be reminded of what’s really important so I stay focused on the life God has called me too. Lord help me!
