Titus Chapter 2
Live In A Way That No One Can Accuse You Of Wrongdoing.
Paul instructs Titus to teach sound doctrine to the older and younger men and women. He is to teach truth and live it so no one can oppose or say anything bad about the believers in Christ.
Paul exalts God’s grace because it has appeared to all so all have a chance for salvation through God’s grace and our faith in Jesus. It teaches us to say NO to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives on Earth while we wait for the return of Jesus who saves us from all sin in order to purify us and so we can do what is good.
That’s my heart: to be holy and pure and do what is good and upright in God’s eyes.
Jesus, help me live a life so no one can make any accusations against me. Thank you for the Salvation that comes through your son and by your grace. Help me to say NO to all sin and worldly passions so I am made holy and do what is good in your sight. Help me be a light in a dark world.
