Oh How Your Faith Is Growing More And More!
In 1st Thessalonians chapter 4, Paul urges them to please God more and more. In this chapter he is thankful for their faith which is growing more and more.
In addition to that Paul is thankful for their growing love for others and thankful for their enduring perseverance amongst the persecution they are facing.
I can’t help but think what is required for a growing faith. Growing faith means your love for others will increase, but also a growing faith means you understand the value of persevering and enduring difficult times. That’s faith! True faith knows there is a light at the end of the tunnel even when things are going horrible, and I mean horrible.
Horrible can be a death of a loved one, persecution from others, financial burdens, lost job, broken relationships, etc.
Is your faith growing? Have you given up? Are you wanting to give up? Do you find yourself being complacent rather than persevering through the tough times? Is your love for others increasing or are you increasingly becoming annoyed with others? A faith that increases more and more will affect your heart, your attitude, and your hunger for the Lord, which in return will affect every relationship and aspect of your life. I pray your faith is growing more and more!
