Second Kings Chapter 6
Don’t Worry, Be Happy!
God cares about the big things in life and the little things. A man borrowed another man’s axe to do work and the ax head flew off of the handle and into the water. The man was worried sick about losing it in the water. He called out and God caused the axe head to float so it could be retrieved.
Next time something unexpected happens, and that’s all the time, choose to not worry! God is in control and he’ll work things out. Call upon the Lord. He knows the unexpected is going to happen. In fact, he often allows it to happen as a way to test our faith and trust in him. So when it happens, stop what you’re doing, and call upon the Lord and say, “Okay God, I won’t panic but I will trust you to work things out.”
Don’t worry, be happy because you know God is in control.
