Thank You for Answered Prayers Even When It Doesn’t Look Like You Answered Them.
Solomon testifies before all of Israel of how God fulfilled his plan in having Solomon build a temple for the Lord. Solomon prayed a great prayer of Thanksgiving!
God, as I look through my prayer journal I see markings of many many many answered prayers for many many people.
But Lord, as I pray, may I remember that your thoughts and ways are not my thoughts and ways. So that if your answer to my prayer doesn’t go the way I thought “it should”, that I would not be disappointed or dismayed. Rather, may I trust you with your plan, for your ways are better than mine. Plus, may I still say THANK YOU for your answer with the same intensity as if you would have answered it my way!
