Second Chronicles Chapter 16
Receive Your Needed Strength
The king of Israel came up against Judah to wage war. So King Asa of Judah sent gold and silver to the king of Aram to come and push out the king of Israel from their midst. So the king of Aram did as king Asa asked him.
But the Lord was angry with King Asa because he turned to man versus turning to God for the strength needed to defeat the enemy. God said, from now on you will have wars.
King Asa was angry and continued to refuse to seek the Lord. God said don’t you know that my eyes are always looking throughout the Earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to me?
What About Us? Do we have hearts that are fully committed to the Lord? Do we seek him first in all things for strength to overcome any obstacle before us. Or do we always want to do it our way?
CHALLENGE:
1. May you have a heart that is fully committed to the Lord in all things.
2. No matter what the obstacle is, always turn to the Lord first for his strength and direction on how he wants to bring victory in your situation.
