Romans Chapter 7

We Can Be Overcomers! Our Victory Is In Jesus.

The law of God is a Holy Law. It was laid out at the beginning for all humankind to follow. What it did was revealed to everybody that they were sinners. It let us know that we are not perfect and we fail at keeping God’s perfect Holy Law. It reveals the sin that we say, and do, and think.

We find ourselves frustrated and even doing the very things that we hate. We want to do good but we fail. The law is not evil it just reveals our evil.

But we can’t be discouraged. There is no sin too powerful for God. If we have a relationship with Christ we are empowered by his Holy Spirit to be able to overcome any sin that is before us. We have to quit living in this mindset that there’s no hope. We have the Holy Spirit to help us walk in righteousness and we have the body of Christ, the Church, to come alongside us and encourage us with our walk.
