Romans Chapter 15

It’s Not Supposed To Be All About Me!

We who are strong in our faith should help those who are struggling with their faith and not think of just ourselves. Our faith walk is not to be all about us. It’s about the whole Body of Christ. So am I focusing on just me or is the faith development of others also important?

So am I living out verse 2 that says to please others and build them up in Christ? The bottom line is to show hope to and for everyone because there’s always hope and it’s found in Christ Jesus.

To do what is asked of us takes having an attitude of a servant, and showing endurance and encouragement which results in glorifying Christ. It’s easy to push people aside particularly if they annoy us. But persevere and show encouragement by serving others. People need to hear the message of Hope, the Salvation found in Christ. May we take this message through the power of the Holy Spirit and may we have the heart of Paul whose ambition was to preach the Gospel where Christ was not known.

This was so important to him he traveled over 1700 miles to preach the Gospel. How far are we willing to go? Are we even willing to take the Gospel to our homes, our workplace, and church?
