Revelation Chapter 19
Finally, the Destruction of Sin.
After Babylon’s fall, we see all of Heaven worshiping the Lord. But God is not yet done with his wrath upon the Earth. Next, a Heavenly Warrior named Word of God (Jesus), followed by the armies of Heaven, will strike down all those who waged war against our Lord. The beast and the false prophet are both captured and thrown alive into the Lake of fire. The Kings and all their armies are killed and the birds gorged on their flesh.
I love to hear the testimonies of God’s people when they share how they were once lost in sin, but then delivered from sin and become a new person in Christ.
I want to hate sin so much that I am driven by so much desire to get rid of sin in my life. Thus, resulting in me worshiping and praising God for not just my victory over sin, but also the victory of others.
There’s great comfort in knowing that one day all the sin of this world, that we thought was so important to run after, will be destroyed. Along with those who were deceived by such sin.
May the power of the Word of God set us free from the bondage of sin NOW so that we don’t have to face the wrath of God LATER! BLESSINGS!
