Revelation Chapter 10
Eat It, Then Share It!
John saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. The angel had a book in his hand which may have declared all of what is still yet to come. John is asked to eat it and then proclaim it to all the world.
Can you imagine if John said to the angel, directed from God, I don’t want to fill myself with this book and I don’t want to proclaim it!
It would be absurd and even disrespectful!
Yet, how committed are Christians today to feeding their souls with God’s word and then proclaiming the Salvation of Jesus to others? And how committed are Christians today in helping others grow in their faith? Think about it! That was what Jesus commanded us to do as stated in Matthew 28 and Acts 1. Yet, Christians today don’t think twice of the fact that it’s NOT a part of their lives.
God help us to be so hungry for your Word that we never stop consuming it in our lives. Then, God, help us to share it with others. In Jesus’s Name, Amen!
