Read Zechariah Chapter 9
God Wants To Destroy All Your Enemies!
Prophecy is given against all Israel’s enemies. God is against them all. Tyre has gained great power and wealth but God will destroy them completely so that other nations see what happened and then fear God. God will put an end to the many lands so they never again overrun Israel.
In fact, Israel is told to rejoice greatly and shout for joy because the coming King will come riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey. This refers to the coming of Jesus and how he will save his people completely.
Jesus came to set the captives free. Are you struggling right now? Do you feel the enemy has a hold on you? Do you feel like a prisoner? God came to destroy our enemies. There is no power that can come against us. God is our hope and our daily strength. He can set us free.
With all your heart, humbly pray for God’s intervention. Pray for his peace, so that you have the assurance that he is in control and not the devil. Pray for his hope and his perseverance so that you don’t give up. There’s victory in Jesus. He hears your prayer and he will work in his timing, not yours. So keep trusting him! In fact, you trust him so much that you rejoice greatly and shout for joy because you anticipate the mighty work of his hands!!!
