Six Sayings of the Wise.
There are 30 sayings of the Wise mentioned in the next few chapters. Six of those 30 are mentioned in this chapter. I want to share them with you.
1. Listen to wisdom. Always apply your heart to it. Always have it on your lips ready to share. Always trust in the Lord for that’s where wisdom starts. Always be honest and speak the truth.
2. Don’t exploit the poor or take advantage of them.
3. Don’t Make Friends with a hot tempered person where you associate with them in such a way that you learn their ways and do as they do.
4. Don’t be quick to help someone with a loan, lest you lose your possessions.
5. Don’t move boundary line markers. It shows your selfish and evil heart.
6. If you’re a great worker, you’ll move up the ladder in life. Strive to be great at whatever you do. Never settle for mediocre. Don’t let laziness or the feelings of entitlement be a part of your life.
