Read Proverbs Chapter 18
Let’s Make A Comparison Between The Righteous And Unrighteous.
Chapter 18 gives a lot of qualities of the righteous and unrighteous. Let me mention a few.
THE UNRIGHTEOUS:
Selfish. Unfriendly. Quarrels. Love their own opinions. Love injustice. Love strife. Their words are snare to their own lives. Gossip. Arrogant. Their words destroy. They are unreliable.
THE RIGHTEOUS:
They run to the Lord who is their security. They are humble. They love knowledge. Their words bear good fruit and build others up. They are a friend that is closer than a brother or sister.
What friend do you have that fits the description of the righteous?
Who do you know that: loves the Lord and displays humble qualities? Who’s in the word of God to gain knowledge? Their words are encouraging and lift you up? Their friendship is closer than a brother or sister? They are loving and encouraging through the good and the bad times of your life?
Who is that friend?
