Read Proverbs Chapter 15
Lord, I Want To Be Pleasing In Your Sight.
Verse three of this chapter says, “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.” The fact that God’s eyes are everywhere and always keeping watch on us, signifies that he’s very well aware of everything going on in our lives. He’s well aware of our every thoughts and every action.
May we never forget that God loves us and wants a committed relationship with us. God’s giving us a free will so we can choose to follow him. We can choose to be selfish and wicked, or we could choose Jesus into our lives and walk in Holiness with him. Sadly we live in a broken world with sin. We can choose to be a part of this problem or we could choose to be a part of the solution through a relationship with Jesus. What a privilege to be able to serve and love him by serving and loving others.
God is very aware of the choices we make every day and the thoughts that go through our minds. Do we want all that we do and say to be televised around the world for all to see and hear? Not me! So what am I going to do about it? Do I keep hiding my secret sins or do I do something about it and repent of my sins? Lord forgive me and help me to be pleasing in your sight!
