Teach with Words And Actions.
As we are discipling other Christians, we are instructed by Jesus to teach them all that he commanded his disciples. In other words, what Jesus taught his disciples, he’s now asking them to teach others. Jesus goes on to say, “teaching them to observe all that I commanded you!” I like the word “OBSERVE.” Because teaching someone on how to be a disciple of Christ is more than just words behind a podium. It’s all about role modeling the principles of love Jesus has taught us. Don’t just tell people what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, but let them OBSERVE it in your everyday life. So both instruct them and demonstrate it so they can hear and see what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Make It real!
