God’s Power And Authority Or My Power And Authority?
Jesus approached his disciples after his resurrection saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on Earth.”
- I think it is important enough to stop and take note. Jesus has all authority. There is no person, no power, no authority that exceeds that of Christ. So we can, with confidence, operate under the authority of Jesus. There is no obstacle or challenge we can’t face. There’s no power out there that we should fear. Nothing trump’s the power of the Lord. So the challenge Jesus is giving his disciples, and to us, we can approach every challenge in life with Confidence knowing it’s under God’s power and authority that we are operating under; and not our own. Learn to surrender everything over to the Lord, daily if necessary, and do so with Confidence, because there’s no other authority greater than God’s. To operate under our power and authority only sets us up for failure! Remember that! 😃
