Read Matthew 27:55-56
Of Course He Can Use You!!
During Jesus’s crucifixion and Death on the cross, it says, “Many women were there looking on from a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to him, among whom was Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.” It says there were many women who witnessed Jesus’s crucifixion. These women were known throughout Jesus’s Ministry who had traveled with Jesus, ministered to him (possibly at times with food and care), and had also supported his ministry financially. Mary Magdalene was the woman that Jesus had cast out seven demons from. It was she whom God chose to be the first person to announce that Jesus was no longer in his tomb. Mary Magdalene was also the first person Jesus revealed himself to after his resurrection.
I enjoy this passage because it’s a reminder that God does not show partiality: he does not show partiality between man and woman, nor the color of one’s skin. If you desire to be used by God, he has a plan for you! He wants to use you to touch and impact lives for the Kingdom Of Heaven.
Joel 2:28-29 says that a day is coming [and has already come] that the Lord will pour out his Spirit on male and female and they will fulfill the call God has on their lives through the gifts he has given them.
Listen, I don’t care what color your skin is, and I don’t care if you are a male or female, and I definitely don’t care what your background is. I don’t care if you think you were the worst person in the world with many regrets. God wants to use you to help build the Kingdom Of Heaven. He has gifts for you that he will use to touch lives and Bear fruit.
God wants to POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT UPON YOU! It’s a free gift but it will cost your life. Are you ready to surrender your whole life to Jesus, telling him that you’re willing to go wherever he calls you and do whatever he asks of you? Don’t cut yourself short! God wants to use you!! Are you ready?
