Being In The Presence Of The Lord Forever Is Surreal.
After having the Passover meal with his disciples, eating the bread and drinking the cup of wine, Jesus said, “I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until the day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s Kingdom.” This is definitely a passage that is greatly debated amongst scholars. Personally, I can’t help but think of the marriage supper mentioned in Revelations 19:9. The marriage supper will be a time of great celebration, the long-awaited time when the church has gathered together for eternity with the Lord. May this be our goal: to be a part of the body of Christ through a relationship with Jesus. May this inspire us to persevere and never give up no matter what the circumstances that surround us. To be in the presence of the Lord Forever is Surreal! May we all long to be there, but until that day comes, may we be busy doing the Lord’s work. May we have a passion to reach lost souls! May we have a passion to make disciples of Christ. May we have a passion to use the gifts God has given us to touch and impact lives for him. May we be obedient to God’s call in our lives. I’m excited to see what God has for me. May we all be excited about his call!!
