Read Matthew 18:18-20
I Want To See God’s Miracles.
When it comes to restoration, there is power in prayer. There’s power when you have Christians who are like-minded, but more importantly, there is power when we are connected to the Holy Spirit. It’s then that his heart and desires become ours. It’s then that God opens the door for his miracles and not ours. It’s then that we can go confidently before the throne of God knowing what we ask in his name, HE will do it.
Let us take confidence in God’s word, for when two or more are gathered in his name, their Jesus is in their midst (Greek word for midst is “mesos” which means he’s right smack dab in the middle of our gathering).
The two or more that are gathered don’t have to be anyone special. They don’t need to be a pastor or a famous evangelist. It can be anyone seeking God in righteousness. For the prayers of a righteous person accomplishes much. They don’t have to be in a special room or arena. It can be in a bathroom stall in a restaurant. It can be anywhere.
4 key things that jump out at me from this passage:
1. Let us be connected to the Holy Spirit so we become attuned to his leading.
2. Let us pursue the restoration God has put on our hearts.
3. Let us join in one Accord with Jesus right smack dab in the middle of what is being done, knowing what was bound or loosed in heaven will be bound and loosed on Earth.
4. See and believe in what God can do through any of us who are seeking him with all our hearts.
