Read Matthew 13:47-52
God, Truly Break My Heart For Lost Souls So That I Share Jesus With Them.
Jesus’s last parable is another “The Kingdom of Heaven is like….” He said it is like a dragnet used to catch fish. It is cast into the sea and gathers fish of every kind. When it is filled, they drag it on to shore and from there they sort out the good fish from the bad fish. The good fish are put into containers and the bad fish are thrown away.
Jesus said, “So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous and cast them into the furnace of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Then Jesus asked his disciples, “Do you understand these things?” They said YES.
Do we understand the parable as it relates to heaven and hell? I want to understand the fullness of this parable. I want it to impact me so much that I have a major increase in my heart for lost souls. I want to have an increase in my desire to share Jesus with others. I truly want to weep for lost souls.
I want to be a scribe or teacher that is able to communicate the treasures of life and salvation with others. Lord, I make myself available to be used by you with wisdom that you have given me a long time ago and use the Revelations of today.
God, break my heart for lost souls!
