Let’s All Go Together And See The Lord!
Jesus and his disciples withdrew to the Sea and a great multitude from Galilee, Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, Tyre and Sidon, and beyond the Jordan, followed Jesus because they heard all that he was doing.
What I find interesting is when all these people heard what Jesus was doing, they traveled from afar to come and see and hear him, and be healed by him. We’re talking about a lot of people. They heard the good news and traveled from afar to be with Jesus!
Is this still happening today? Are people hearing the good news of Jesus and then running to have a relationship with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords?
Actually, I do hear of places where a revolution is taking place. You still hear of revivals occurring. Let me make this personal: when you read all the marvelous things Jesus did in the Bible, and hear of what he’s still doing today, then how do you respond? Do you get so excited, no one can stop your heartfelt pursuit of the Lord? Are you excited on Sunday to go to church and fellowship with other believers? Do you find yourself hungry and thirsty for God’s word that you can’t set it down? Do you find it hard to be complacent because you know God has so much more for you?
Have you been following the Lord for “so long” that you have reached the stage of ” Ho Hum?” You’ve lost the zeal! You’ve lost the hunger and passion? You have become so complacent that, in essence, you’ve lost the love. God’s love is never ending. It is never too late to come back to Jesus. It’s never too late to come to him for the very first time. His arms are always open wide and ready to love and forgive. He’s always ready to transform and make lives new. I’m excited for YOU and for all God has for YOU. Let’s all go together to see the Lord!
