Read Malachi Chapter 4
It All Starts With Jesus!
This chapter has six verses and is all about the coming Judgment of God. God says he will “send the prophet Elijah,” meaning his Son Jesus, who will speak the truth and he will change the hearts of the people.
The arrogant and evildoers will be consumed with fire. But those who Revere God’s name will be blessed and they will trample the wicked. Below are God’s final words to his people before Jesus comes to Earth. It’s a call to obedience to God’s word. Then 400 years later, Jesus will come. Then there will be a call to follow Jesus and his words.
Through Christ we escape God’s Judgment of hell. Through Christ we understand love for God and love for one another. But it starts with our relationship with Jesus. Do you truly have that love relationship with Jesus? He is our hope for today and the days to come.
