Read Luke 3:23-38
I Was CREATED With VALUE, With PURPOSE, And With A CALL. Do I Really Believe That?
Luke ends with a genealogy of Jesus focusing differently than the genealogy mentioned in Matthew 1. Both give evidence to support that Jesus is not a story of fiction but that he really did exist and that both Joseph and Mary came from the genealogy of Abraham, David, and Adam.
It says that Jesus was about 30 years old when he began his ministry. And then we read, not stories, but real accounts of the ministry of Jesus.
The coming life of Jesus was told by God in Genesis and that he would be a Savior, a Redeemer, the Coming King, and The Great I Am. Jesus fulfilled the Purpose that God had for him to do.
What about You?
1. God CREATED you (Genesis 1, Colossians 1, John 1).
2. You are VALUABLE to God for he had planned your life before the beginning of time – before you were in your mother’s womb (Ephesians 1 & Psalms 139).
3. God created you with a PURPOSE (Jeremiah 29:11-13).
4. God has CALLED each of us to reach lost souls for Jesus (Matthew 28, Luke 24, Acts 1).
Are we obedient to God’s call on our lives like Jesus was obedient to God’s call on his life?

2. Knowing that God has given you great VALUE and WORTH?
3. Knowing that he has a PURPOSE for your life?
4. Or knowing that he has CALLED you to Reach Lost Souls For Jesus?

For me, I struggled mostly with my value and worth and in my younger days thought that reaching lost souls was the job of a “pastor” or a “missionary.” But today I realize we are all missionaries called by God to reach lost souls.
Lord, help be obedient to your purpose and call. Help me be faithful to the end.
