Read Luke 21:25-36
Here I Come, Ready Or Not!
Jesus mentioned many signs that will occur before his return to Earth. And when he returns, he will return with power and great glory. Jesus warns us to recognize the signs of his coming return. As we study the signs, we see that all the signs he mentioned have already happened, therefore we need to be ready.
1. We need to get our house in order. Have you surrendered everything to the Lord? Are you following him?
2. We need to be busy doing the Lord’s work. We can’t allow ourselves to be sidetracked and lose focus of what’s really important in life.
3. Jesus said that heaven and earth will one day pass away but his word will never pass away. Daily be in God’s word. Live by it. Trust it. Believe it. Don’t let the circumstances of Life control you. Do not let the fear of the future overwhelm you and cause anxiety that rules you or controls you.
4. Whether Jesus returns today or thousands of years from now, all I want to say is, Be Ready! Because one day he will return so be ready because he’ll come whether we’re ready or not. And when he comes, and you’re not ready, then it’s too late!
