Read John 21:25
It’s Hard To Fathom.
Vs 25: “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”
IT’S HARD TO FATHOM what more works of miracles Jesus did while on Earth. You read the four gospel accounts (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and you can’t imagine what more Jesus did within the three years of his Ministry life on earth.
IT’S HARD TO FATHOM a life solely devoted to the Lord that every second of every minute of every hour of every day of Jesus’s life was focused on God his Father, pleasing him all day and all night long.
I want to do God’s will and I want to please God my Father all day and everyday. Sadly, my selfish heart gets in the way and I will purposely choose a path that’s enticing to me. In other words, I find myself giving into temptations and then having to humbly go before the Lord and say, “I’m sorry, please forgive me.”
Lord, even though there are numerous more books that could have been written of the many more things you did, I shouldn’t need them. What has been written should be enough to convict me of sin, bring repentance in my heart and life, cause me to surrender my will and daily follow you. It should be enough! Lord, help me be conformed more and more into the image of Christ and be faithful daily to your will and calling on my life. Strengthen me and help me not give into temptations.
