Read Jeremiah Chapter 33
God Still Speaks To Me.
Jeremiah was confined, by the king, to the courtyard of the guard because of prophesying words the king didn’t like. God reminded Judah that many of their people would die from the Babylonians. But he also brought a message of Hope through Jeremiah. God reminded Judah of his promise for salvation. That through the line of David a savior would come and save his people and he would be called “The Lord our Righteous Savior.”
Despite the fact that Jeremiah was in confinement, God still spoke to him a second time. It is nice to know that no matter how much the devil and the world tries to shut down God’s people, God can still rise above the enemy and speak truth in power through his people. No matter how beat down we feel, God is still on the throne. He is still in charge. He can still use us. Whether we are on a mountaintop or in the darkest valleys, God still wants to speak his truth and salvation to us and through us to a dying world. So put the armor of God on today because God wants to use you … TODAY!
