Read Jeremiah Chapter 31
The Qualities Of Restoration.
God speaks of restoration and mentions what it will look like. See if these qualities are present in your life.
1. God delivers his people from that which is holding them in bondage. Is there something holding you in bondage and keeping you from giving your all to Jesus? Let the Lord set you free.
2. The joy of the Lord is present and heard from his people. Is the Joy of the Lord evident in your life?
3. God’s word will be in the hearts and minds of his people. Are you investing your heart and mind in the Word of God? Are you daily feeding your spirit with his words?
4. God will forgive his people of ALL their sins and remember them no more. Listen, I don’t want you to miss this: confess your sins to the Lord. All of them! THEN stand Up strong and confident. Your sins are forgiven to be remembered no more. God is excited to love and use you for the kingdom.
5. There’s a time of rebuilding.
Great news: God will rebuild you. It will be hard work. It will take time. But “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them [those who oppose the Lord Jesus], because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” I John 4:4.
You think your life is a mess? Good news: God takes messed up people and conforms them into the image of Christ and uses them for his kingdom.
