Read Hosea Chapter 9
Let What Good Things You Remember About Your Faith Become A Reality Again.
Ephraim’s disobedience before the Lord will result in God’s punishment. Nothing will go right with them. God will curse their harvest. God will allow them to be overtaken by their enemies and go into exile. God called their prophets fools and the inspired man he called demented. Which is ironic because when Hosea prophesied against them, they called Hosea the fool. But in reality, they were the real fools. They even took their children to slaughter so God will allow them not to have children.
God remembered the days when Ephraim was faithful and fruitful. But then something happened. They became an abomination before the Lord.
Perhaps we need to remember the days of being faithful and fruitful and then return to the Lord because he can make us faithful and fruitful again. Don’t get trapped into a lifestyle that hurts God. And don’t let the enemy tell you that you can never again be God’s productive child! WRONG!!! You are just one step away from receiving God’s forgiveness and mercy. You are just one day away from being an active child of faith again and bearing fruit again for the kingdom of God. Let what you remember about your faith be a reality again. You’re one step away from seeing God work again in and through your life.
