Read Hosea Chapter 11
After All I’ve Done For You….
Vs 1: This chapter starts off with a prophecy that Jesus fulfilled in Matthew 2:13-15 when God called him out of Egypt to be a Savior to a messed up world.
Vs 2-4: God lists everything he has done for Ephraim. God says I taught you to walk, I took you in my arms and loved you, I healed you, I led you with bonds of love, I removed your yoke from you, and I fed you.
Vs 5: After doing all of that, God said, you still refused to turn to me.
Vs 6: So God says he will come against them.
Vs 8-9: For God says he does not wish to come against them but Justice demands it. But because of his Holiness and compassion he will not destroy them completely.
How nice it would be if we could show that same love and compassion towards those who have wronged us.
Vs 10-12: God is faithful and declares he will restore Ephraim even though in their present state they lie, are full of deceit, they are unruly, and even are against the Holy One of God.
This is great news for us. We too can become unruly against God, yet his salvation is still available to us. May we not be as stubborn as Ephraim. Instead, may we turn to the Lord and acknowledge, praise, and thank God for all he has done for us. May we not chase after the pleasures of this world, and may we not be complainers because God is not “doing more” for us.
I pray that each of us takes advantage of God’s son, Jesus, and give him our whole hearts so he can save us from sin and give us a new and transformed life, walking in Holiness with him.

List 10 things the Lord has blessed you with, then thank him and praise him for the blessings. Don’t forget to include the Salvation that is available to us through Jesus.
10 Things I am thankful for:
1. Definitely the salvation of my soul.
2. For the empowerment of the Holy Spirit who helps me speak with boldness.
3. For the Holy Spirit guiding and directing my life even when it doesn’t make sense.
4. For the roof over my head.
5. For my family and friends.
6. For food.
7. For a hot shower.
8. For the tough times that make me more like Jesus.
9. For the tough times so I can appreciate the good times more.
10. I am thankful that I can exercise and run.
