Read Haggai Chapter 2
“Take Courage, I Am With You. Do Not Fear.”
God is wanting his Temple rebuilt and restored and cleansed for it is in ruins. Haggai says to Zurubbabel and all of Israel, “Who is left among you who saw the temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it seem to you like nothing in comparison to what it was before?”
“But take courage.. for I Am With You! Do not fear! I will SHAKE All Nations and the DESIRED of All Nations will come and I will fill this house with GLORY.”
This is the prophecy of the coming Messiah, Jesus, THE DESIRED ONE.
1. For Jesus will SHAKE all nations with his words of truth that goes against all the false teachings the Nations have heard for so long.
2. Jesus will be the DESIRED ONE for he will save people from their sins and bring healing into their lives.
3. Jesus will fill this temple with his glory and there will be nothing like it ever before. There will be peace versus strife, anger, and hatredness.
Could this be said about your life! Do you remember when you first served the Lord with all your heart? How are you doing now? Would you say there is no comparison now of what it used to be years ago? The Lord says to you: “Take courage, I am with you. Do not fear.” The DESIRED ONE, Jesus, will fill you with his glory. In other words, the Holy Spirit will revive and rebuild your life into what he desires. You’ll become a new person and it says, you will be better than before because of the power of the Holy Spirit. He will restore and bring healing and peace.
Surrender your whole life to the Lord! Don’t hang on to anything or anyone? Give him all your heart and pain for he came to heal the brokenhearted. Let him change your life first over anyone else. Let your life be what others see as a new and beautiful person – God’s glory. Then see what God will do. He says, “Take courage, I am with you. Do not Fear.”
