Read Ezekiel Chapter 3
Don’t Give Up On Them.
God called Ezekiel to warn Israelites of their sin and the punishment that awaits them. God said their hearts would be hard and won’t listen. But God loves them and wants them to hear the Redemption message. So God make Ezekiel just as hard so that he would speak regardless of whether they listened or not. He would become so hard that he wouldn’t give up on the people and would be persistent to share God’s message.
Ezekiel 3:18 God says, “If I say to a wicked person you will surely die and you do not warn them or speak out the dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their lives, that wicked person will die for their sin and I will hold you accountable for their blood.”
Lord, make us hard, meaning, determined to share your word with those around us. May we not give up.
This message is for me because I have been ministering to a couple who want prayer. They aren’t happy with their lives. I have challenged them to surrender but they don’t. So I backed off and the one said, why don’t you send your prayers for us anymore? We need them. Wow! So I will be hard and determined to keep loving and encouraging them and pray for the day that they will surrender their lives to the Lord!
Do you have that friend you are reaching out to who has a hard heart? Don’t give up. Keep loving and encouraging them.
