Read Ezekiel Chapter 1
Wake Up Christian! Wake Up Church!
The glory of God appeared before Ezekiel through a vision. His presence was mighty and majestic, and wanted to speak to Ezekiel regarding a call he had for his life. When Ezekiel saw the Glory of the Lord, he fell face down before Him, and then heard the voice of God.
Do you want to hear the voice of the Lord for your life? Perhaps we can all learn from Ezekiel and fall face down in humility before God, recognizing our imperfections and realizing God’s all surpassing power. Sometimes we can’t hear the voice of the Lord because we’re not in the right position. When we fall before the Lord in Brokenness, Humility, while Surrendering our will to the Lord, then and only then can we hear his voice. Our arrogance deafens our ears to hear. When we elevate our agenda or our will over God’s, we miss what God is trying to say to us. Wake up Christians! Wake up Church! God wants to speak to us. Are we in the right position before God so we can hear his voice?
