God Is Calling You!
The Lord called Ezekiel into Ministry. God instructed him to stand at attention to hear his orders. God said he was sending him to the Israelites who were rebellious, were revolting against the Lord, they were obstinate and stubborn. Wow! Sounds like a spiritual battlefield. But Ezekiel was instructed not to be afraid at all. God even gave him a scroll that had the Lord’s words on them that he would need to speak. Ezekiel ate the scroll and it was sweet as honey.
God is calling us into a Ministry/Battle. Yes, all of us! This isn’t just for pastors and missionaries in Africa.
Do the people in your family, the people at your workplace, those at the place of recreation, and those you bump into on your everyday walk, do they KNOW without a Shadow of doubt, that you are a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ? Can they see it in how you live your life? Can they tell by what comes out of your mouth. Do you understand the scriptures enough to be able to lead someone into a saving relationship with Jesus?
CHALLENGE: God is calling you to a place of ministry. Are you standing in attention to hear his voice? Feed on the word of God. And then keep feeding on the word of God. It gives life. It restores Brokenness. Then take the word of God and present it to those you are surrounded with. Show it in your life and then encourage them with the words of God. I would venture to say, there are hurting people, and lost souls, all around us. They’re looking for hope and we have the answer.
