Read Daniel Chapter 12
The Time Of Thwe End.
God says a time is coming when his people will face so much distress like never before experienced. And those written in the book will be rescued. A prophecy of the Resurrection of the Dead is clear In this passage. For those in Christ it means eternal life. For those not in Christ it means an everlasting death.
Two men were having a conversation with the man dressed in linen wanting to know how long it will be until the end of these wonders. The man in linen gave his answer but Daniel did not understand it. The man in linen said these words are concealed till the end times, but did say, many will be purged, purified, and refined. The wicked will act wickedly and not understand and will lack understanding and insight of what God is doing.
But the promise of the end times includes the return of Christ to gather his church, followers of him. We may not understand all of this, as Daniel didn’t, but we are given the assurance that one day Jesus will return and we will face judgment. Either we enter the Kingdom of Heaven for eternal life, or hell for eternal damnation.
What choices we make now will have eternal consequences. May we grasp this concept of eternity and let it inspire us to live a Godly and holy life for the Lord. May we be faithful to the end with our faith walk. God, help us to be found faithful.
