Read Daniel chapter 10
You, Who Are Highly Esteemed – i.e. You, Who Are AWESOME!
Daniel saw a vision of future events. God was going to reveal to him what was to come. But fear came upon Daniel and all his strength was taken from him. He spent three weeks fasting and praying for God’s revelation and now God is ready to respond. But God says these strong words to Daniel:
1. He calls him one who is Highly Esteemed, or what I like to say, one who is AWESOME!!!!
2. God touches Daniel and gives him STRENGTH to be able to hear what God has to say.
3. God says, Do Not Be Afraid. Peace Be With You. Take Courage And Be Courageous.
As you think of your future, perhaps, like Daniel, you have prayed in tears. You have cried out to God in total Brokenness seeking his will, looking for answers. You have prayed and cried out to the point of losing all strength. The thought of the unknown scares you. You feel like death has come upon you or perhaps have thought death would be a blessing. You’ve prayed to the point that you’ve got nothing left within you. It’s during these times that God wants to connect with you with the same words he gave Daniel:
1. God calls out your name and says, you who are Highly Esteemed, in other words you are EXTRAORDINARILY AWESOME!!! It’s important that you understand how he sees you. He loves you. You are awesome to him. Your past does not dictate his love. He wants to take you where you’re at right now and reveal his plan for your life.
2. God wants to give you strength to endure what he has for you. You can handle what awaits you, good or bad, he can sustain you. He will ride through the good and bad with you.
3. Don’t be afraid. Receive his peace. Stand with courage and be courageous. You can face whatever awaits you. You can be victorious. Don’t give up.
He loves you, remember, you are highly esteemed. You are AWESOME!!!
