Now There’s A Good Idea!
After the religious leaders released Peter and John, they returned to their people and told them all tKí with boldness, for God’s healing, and God signs and wonders to be performed in Jesus name.
After they prayed, the place shook, they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke God’s word boldly.
How often in one day do we encounter obstacles? What’s the first thing we do? To be honest, sometimes I get mad and blame myself. Sometimes I whine and complain while getting upset. Sometimes I question God. And oh yeah, once in a while I pray. NOW THERE’S A GOOD IDEA!!! Why didn’t I think of that first?
When obstacles come let us always take it to God In Prayer without the whining and complaining. Start with acknowledging God as sovereign, knowing he’s in control. And praise him because he is in control and because you trust by faith that he’s going to work things out. Pray against the enemy and pray for the releasing power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Maybe the place won’t shake like it did with Peter and John, but I can say with confidence it will release the power of God. Obstacles see God do miracles and help us grow and mature in our faith walk. Help us Lord to persevere and trust you without the whining and complaining. Help us to always take it to God first in prayer. NOW THERE’S A GOOD IDEA!!!
