Read Acts 2:1-13
The IMPOSSIBLE becomes POSSIBLE.
On the day of Pentecost, the 50th and last day of celebrating the Festival of Weeks, the 120 followers of Christ were all together in a house. Suddenly a sound came from heaven and filled the whole house and tongues of fire rested on them. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages.
The thousands of God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven, who were present outside, heard the 120 disciples speaking all in their own languages. As a result, a large group of people came together in bewilderment and amazement. They were trying to figure out how Galileans were able to speak in around 15 different languages?!? The disciples were declaring the Wonders of God. However, there were some who made fun of the disciples saying they were drunk.
HOW IS ALL THIS POSSIBLE?
When Christians come together in unity and pray and seek the Lord with all their hearts, things are going to happen. The IMPOSSIBLE becomes POSSIBLE. Things are going to happen that don’t make sense to this world. Some will be bewildered. Some will be amazed. Some will make fun of you or attack you and your character.
I WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS!!! I want to see the Holy Spirit come upon the church in such a way that the IMPOSSIBLE becomes POSSIBLE.
Dear Jesus, fill me with your Holy Spirit and with fire so that the first IMPOSSIBLE becomes POSSIBLE: that is, a transformation in my life. Break me where I need to be broken. Cleanse me where I need to be cleansed. Teach me where I need to be taught. Equip me where I need to be equipped. Then use me wherever you want to use me so the second IMPOSSIBLE becomes POSSIBLE: the transformation of lives around the world. I pray this in brokenness and in the name of Jesus, Amen.
