Psalms Chapter 96
Is That The Best You Can Do?
The psalmist is all about instructing people to be invested in the Lord and proclaiming his name to the world. He says the following:
Sing, praise, and worship the Lord. We’re told to proclaim God’s Salvation day after day. To declare his glory and marvelous deeds. To ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
This chapter reminds me how I fall short. Am I really invested in the Lord day after day? I mean, YES, I am daily invested in the Lord but NO, I don’t proclaim his salvation day after day. I don’t daily declare his glory and marvelous deeds. Am I doing the best that I can do? No!
Lord help me fall so much in love with you that I am compelled daily to share with others your great salvation, love, and mighty deeds.
