Psalms Chapter 9
There’s a time to Ask of God and there’s a Time to Praise God.
In verse 1, it says, “I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart. I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”
And verse 11 instructs us to sing His Praises and proclaim to everyone what he has done.
* God, forgive me when I come before you and all I do is ask, ask, ask of you.
* Forgive me Lord when I lack with Thanksgiving and Praises to you.
* Forgive me if my only testimonies of your greatness is of me complaining because of my dissatisfaction in life.
* God, let there be so much more of me giving thanks and praises to you.
* God, let there be so much more of me telling others of your wonderful deeds.
Do you let your life circumstances only allow you to see Doom and Gloom so that your prayers to God are constant asking for help?
Or are you, despite your life circumstances, able to see that God is at work and you actually do have a lot to be thankful for?
Are you able to see the hand of God at work in and through your life and there are actually great testimonies you could share with others?
CHALLENGE: let God hear more Praises and Thanksgiving in your daily walk with him. And be more intentional in sharing testimonies of his work in and through your life.
