Psalms Chapter 78
Let’s Not Lose A Generation.
The psalmist gives a directive to the people to hear and listen to what he has to say regarding the things and wonders that God has done. He will teach the people of the law the Lord commanded they follow and then they are to teach it to each new generation. Why? Verse 6-8 give a good description why. Because once you miss a generation where the focus on the Lord is lost, a spiritual and moral decay occurs within the home, eventually a society, eventually a city, eventually a state, eventually a nation, eventually the whole world. Which explains why Jesus commissioned us to go into all the world and preach the GOSPEL and MAKE DISCIPLES.

We are either a generation that’s leading our family to Christ or we are losing a generation because there’s so much other stuff going on that attracts our attention. Think about it. It happens to us all the time. We are surrounded by distractions. All of us! We are either going to win a generation for Christ or we will help lose it.
2 CHALLENGES:
1. Promote Jesus in your household. Commit to Christ so it’s becomes every aspect of your life. Commit to the church so it becomes more than a place you visit on Sunday.
2. Become more aware of those without Christ around you. Let your life be a reflection of Christ. Learn to share your testimony of who Christ is to you, and pray that those around you will capture this Christ you love.
