Psalms Chapter 71
Stand Up Straight! You’re a Child of God!
The psalmist declares the Lord as his Refuge and Rock, his Hope and his Confidence.
Lord, may it always be you who I run to as my Refuge and as The Rock of stability for my life. It’s in you and you only that I find Hope. It’s in you and you only that I place my Confidence. Lord, I rebuke the lies of the devil that tries to deceive me and destroy me. Help me stand up straight with my shoulders back. Empower me with your truth that I can praise you daily and be confident in the person you created me to be. May people see this confidence I have from you and may it give them hope. Let me walk in Victory versus walking in defeat. Remind me that I am a child of God. Therefore I bow to no one but you. I bow to no lies and I bow to no deception. I bow to the King that gives me life, hope, and confidence!
