Psalms Chapter 7
I Know I’m Not Perfect.
David, in the midst of turmoil, acknowledges the fact that he’s not perfect. He even declares these words to the Lord:
If he is guilty of wrongdoing, “then let my enemy pursue and overtake me…” He even said, “Judge me, O Most High, according to my righteousness and integrity.”
Are we quick to speak evil against others with a self-righteous and indignant heart?
May the Lord help us all be more transparent about our weaknesses versus being quick to judge others as if they’re all to blame.
I respect a person who can be transparent about their weaknesses a whole lot more than a person who acts as if there’s no evil to be found within them. Lord help us all to be self aware of our spiritual journey and learn from our mistakes so we can really be conformed into your image versus ACTING AS IF we’ve already obtained perfection.
