Psalms Chapter 68
May We Be Your Hands And Feet.
We are called to sing to God praises. This chapter reveals the heart of God who is a father to the fatherless. A defender of widows. His love is for the lonely, the prisoners, and those with burdens. He’s a provider for the poor.
So may we be obedient and truly praise God and exalt him above all other people and things. May we enter before him in humility and surrender.
Then help us be His hands and feet and show the same compassion for others that He does. Lord, show us the fatherless today that we may show your love to them. Show us a widow and a lonely one today that we may stop and visit with them. Reveal to us prisoners who are in need of being set free. May our encouragement give them the hope of Jesus. Show us the poor that we may make a sacrifice to help meet their need. Give us your heart and love and compassion that we may help those with burdens.
Help us be your hands and feet for there are so many who are broken and in need. Let us be Jesus to them.
