Psalms Chapter 67
May God… May I… May the Church.
The psalmist says the word “MAY’ several times followed by a purpose.
1. May God be gracious to us. May God bless us. May God make his face shine upon us. Why? So all people can see his ways and see his salvation.
2. May the people praise you God and May the Nations sing for joy. Why because God rules with equity and guides the Nations. Because the land yields its harvest.
I want God’s blessing, not just for me but for the church, because it’s the church that should be proclaiming God’s Great salvation to the world.
May I and the church keep praises to God on our lips at all times for God is in control of this Earth for he “guides the nations”. We see evil rise up in areas but his righteousness is rising up as well. May his righteousness rise upon my Heart and the Heart of the church so that evil is overcome in the name of Jesus and lives are changed for the Lord.
Lord, May our mission be your mission and May our purpose be your purpose to bring the righteousness of Jesus to the world, His Salvation.
