Psalms Chapter 66
I’m Busy!!!
The psalmist proclaims these words:
Shout for joy to God. Sing of his glory. Sing praises! Proclaim to him his awesomeness and power. God’s enemies, along with all the earth, will bow down to the Lord.
We live in a busy and demanding life. Something is always fighting for our time and attention. It’s so easy to get distracted and miss taking the time to stop with our busyness and just exalt the Lord God with shouts of joy, or with singing praises to him. May the Lord help us be more aware of the great and awesome things he does for us. Let us bow down NOW to the Lord with joy versus waiting till judgment day when we bow down in fear of his judgment.
Lord, forgive me when I allow myself to become so distracted that you lose my heart and focus.
