Psalms Chapter 61
My Heart Faints For You.
The psalmist expresses his love and concern for the king and his heart faints for the king. He even prays that God protects the king and increase his days on Earth and increases days as a king. Then the psalmist declares he will praise the Lord!
CHALLENGE: For today, think less of yourself and more about someone you know that is struggling in some way. I mean really fall before the Lord and pray for this person or persons. Cry out to God with a faint heart like the psalmist did. Then throughout the day, think of this person and pray for them and then praise the Lord for how he will work on their behalf.
