Psalms Chapter 60
Brokenness to Restoration
The psalmist cries out to God and speaks of brokenness. He says the following words:
1. You have rejected us God, you burst upon us, you’ve been angry, but now restore us.
2. You have allowed our enemy to destroy our land, now mend it.
3. You let us experience desperate times and we’ve even faced your judgment, but now deliver us.
4. Help us Lord because human efforts are worthless. Only you can give us victory.
CHALLENGE:
List your broken state before the Lord. Keep crying for restoration. Trust God for his victory and restoration. Don’t put your trust in human effort but trust the Lord. He may use others but your heart must be for the Lord’s direction, especially over your own direction. We are inclined to want to be in control. It must start with the Lord. Give him your brokenness and trust him for his victory and restoration.
