Psalms Chapter 119:9-16
Wow! God’s Word!!!
The psalmist asks how can a young person keep themselves pure? Actually that’s a question for all ages. His answer was by living according to God’s word. Therefore, let us do as he suggested:
* Let us SEEK THE LORD with all our hearts because it’s too easy to stray away.
* Let us HIDE GOD’S WORD in our hearts so that we won’t sin against him.
* Let us DESIRE TO BE TAUGHT his word and even go back and study over it again.
* Let us REJOICE in following God’s word just like one rejoices over a great riches.
* Let us DELIGHT in God’s word, so much so, that we take the time to not just read the words but even study and meditate on them.
* Let us NEVER NEGLECT God’s word.
Lord, help me to never neglect your word. Help me find great delight in them and even look forward to reading, learning, and being taught your word! Amen!
