Psalms Chapter 103
I Praise God With My Inmost Being.
The psalmist wants to praise the Lord with all of his inmost being. He doesn’t want to forget all the Lord has done for him. He lists so many things of the Lord: his forgiveness, healing, redemption, love, compassion, justice, righteousness, grace, his slowness to anger, he doesn’t give us what we deserve.
May we praise the Lord with all of our hearts, soul, mind, and strength as an expression of our love and appreciation. We certainly have a lot to praise Him for unless we are a pessimist and only see the negatives of life.
For me, I’ve experienced his forgiveness which is an eternal blessing. That alone is worth more than we could ever repay no matter how much praising we do. He’s given me gifts so I can help others in need and given me gifts to help point people to Jesus. He’s done so much for me despite my imperfections. I truly can’t thank him enough. I Praise You Lord with all my inmost being.
