Psalms Chapter 100
Know THIS!!!
The psalmist says:
“Let all the Earth shout for Joy to the Lord with joyful songs. Worship him with gladness. Enter his gates with Thanksgiving and his courts with praise.”
When you enter into the presence of the Lord is it with joy and gladness, Thanksgiving and praise, or is it more often with whining and complaining about your life and future?
The psalmist says to know that the Lord is God and we are his sheep. The Lord Is Our Shepherd and a shepherd takes care of his sheep. In fact they will leave 99 safe sheep to go after the one lost sheep. If we truly understood what it means that God is our Shepherd and that his “love and faithfulness endures forever,” we would certainly whine and complain so much less and praise with much more joy and gladness, and with Thanksgiving.
CHALLENGE: Throughout the day, when things get rough, stop and praise and thank God for being a shepherd that will take care of you. Thank Him in advance for what he is going to do rather than whine and complain.
